On Friday 23rd September, Team Cottingham celebrated our fantastic summer 2016 exam success whilst simultaneously smothering ourselves in denim by taking part in the national Jeans for Genes day.

Once again, our amazing campus managed to dig deep into their pockets and raise the sizeable sum of £224.80 for the charity Genetic Disorders UK.

This charity helps children who are less fortunate than ourselves to lead a more comfortable life. Our donation will help towards the costs of adaptive sports sessions, weekends away with similarly affected children, or even support days for the carers of these children.

I would like to offer everyone who donated, or went out of their way to acquire items of denim clothing to join in with the day’s antics, my deepest thanks.

Mr Williams
